Tilda Whitaker made a commitment to Christ at twelve years of age. At that time she began to work for God. Today she stands boldly to declare a message of hope and truth. Her ministry is set to compel the attention of those who seek to discover their purpose in life and launch their destiny.
Tilda is an encourager, conference speaker, preacher, humanitarian, teacher and mother. Tilda’s passion and gift for teaching combined with her flare for staying on the cutting edge of ministry makes her tremendously effective in many aspects of ministry.
Tilda’s love for missions began at a young age as she grew up in a family that is five generations deep in ministry.
In 1998 she founded S.W.I.M. Network, Inc. (Single Women In Mission), a mission to assist single women in need.
In 2002 she founded W.A.T.E.R., Inc. (Women Anointed to Enter the River), a Christian women’s leadership training program. W.A.T.E.R. serves women who have birthed God given missions.
For the last ten years Tilda has been an active member of Morning Star Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ); Rocky Mount, NC where her pastor is Bishop R.T. McCarter.
Acts 10:34 tells us that God is no respecter of persons. Anyone can be used by God as long as they yield themselves to Him. Tilda believes you can only guide someone where you’ve been….She says she has "GOT TO BE A WITNESS" and makes the most of all her opportunities to tell the world about the LOVE of JESUS.
