Today's Office Program- Not Just Another ProgramToday's Office Program (TOP), run by Single Women In Mission Network, Inc- a nonprofit 501c3 organization, is a thirteen-week program offering computer and office skills training, job preparation, placement assistance and follow-up for economically disadvantaged adults. Students learn the skills required to get a job and, more importantly, the skills required to keep a job! Students receive in depth training in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as a general overview of PowerPoint, Access, Internet Explorer and Outlook. Students also learn problem solving, conflict resolution, goal setting, office etiquette, communication and positive attitude. Each day students are required to clock-in, adhere to real-life guidelines and wear professional attire, which is provided free of charge. Graduates are prepared to enter the workforce as administrative office workers.
